The P&C and its fundraising objectives are reliant on the support and generosity of parents and local businesses.

The Wheeler Heights Public School has been providing education to local children for close to 50 years. We have around 360 families with approximately 500 children attending the school. Our catchment area is Wheeler Heights and Collaroy Plateau. We do have families attending from out of area – Cromer, Cromer Heights, Beacon Hill, Narraweena and Dee Why.

We have very active groups in dance, band, chess and sporting teams and have a close affinity with the RSL Retirement Village.
 
Our sports teams, bands and dance groups play in a variety of events. Please see our term calendar for more information. We hold sports days, Grandparents' and open days. The volume of active parents and students and the wider community in such a large area presents a wide exposure for any sponsor.
 

Why do we need sponsorship?

• To allow the purchase of classroom, sporting, canteen and extra-curricular equipment to enhance the educational experience provided.
• In the long term, to provide funds to establish and fit out a school hall and upgrade the playing field.
  
  

The P&C particularly desires sponsorship arrangements with local businesses that build on a sense of community involvement.
 

Promotional Opportunities

As a sponsor of the school you would achieve wide brand exposure, including to:

• The families and friends of the school students through newsletter distribution;
• Families and extended families attending the school for open day, Grandparents' day, sports day,   presentations, etc;
• The local community attending Wheeler Heights School for election day.

The P&C offers the following promotional opportunities to sponsors:

• Our Major Sponsor's name can be displayed on the school notice board on Veterans Parade (2 per year – arranged on a half yearly basis for 2 semesters each).
• Should a sponsor provide equipment, the sponsor's name can be applied to the equipment. Recognition will be given in the school newsletter and website. If partial funding is received for equipment, then details will be posted on the website fundraising page until (as well as after) the equipment is purchased.
• School Newsletter: Our fortnightly newsletter is distributed to families. We are offering a sponsor front page space (in footer) for a fortnightly fee of $150.00. This can be arranged per term for $750 or $3000 for 1 year.
• Website: The school website will have provision for banner advertising and hot links to a sponsor’s website.
• Sponsor's name displayed on notice in school foyer/notice board
• Acknowledgement in newsletters and at functions
